Degree Media, Inc., doing business as Degree Grading ("Degree Grading," "we," "us," or "our"), respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information when you visit degreegrading.com, create an account, submit collectibles for grading, purchase products or services, communicate with us, or otherwise use our websites, forms, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
This Policy applies to customers, prospective customers, account holders, marketing subscribers, and website visitors. It does not govern workforce information or a third party's independent privacy practices.
Our Privacy Choices & Cookie Notice provides controls for analytics and advertising technologies and a form for privacy requests.
Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:
Name, email address, telephone number, mailing and shipping address, username, account identifier, account settings, authentication records, and information provided by a sign-in service when you choose to use one.
Products or services purchased or considered; order and submission numbers; collectible descriptions, images, grading, and certification information; declared or estimated values; promotional information; transaction history; returns; claims; and customer-service records.
Payment-card information is processed by our payment processor. We may receive transaction identifiers, payment status, billing details, amounts, and limited payment-method information, but Degree Grading does not store complete payment-card numbers.
Sender and recipient information, parcel details, postage, carrier, label, tracking, delivery, pickup, insurance, and claim information.
Emails, form submissions, chat or support messages, survey responses, feedback, telephone or SMS records, and other communications you send to us.

Communication preferences, marketing sign-up and unsubscribe information, suppression status, and information about interactions with communications.
We collect personal information:
We may use personal information to:
Transactional communications provide information needed to service an account or transaction, such as security notices, receipts, order confirmations, grading updates, shipping, and tracking. A purchase, account, order, or submission does not by itself constitute marketing consent.
We send marketing email only where the recipient has provided qualifying consent. Marketing consent is optional and is not required to make a purchase. Marketing messages include an unsubscribe method. Transactional messages may continue when necessary to service an account or transaction.
We and our service providers may use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, and similar technologies to:
Some analytics and advertising providers may collect information about your activity over time and across websites or services. Depending on applicable law, these disclosures may be considered a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising even when no money is exchanged.
Unless you have opted out, we use these analytics and advertising technologies by default when you visit the Services from the United States. You can opt out at any time using the Deny option in our cookie notice or the controls on our Privacy Choices & Cookie Notice page, and your choice takes effect in that browser immediately. We recognize qualifying Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out request where required. The signal applies to the browser or device sending it and, where we can reasonably associate the browser with an account, may also apply to that account. Where applicable law instead requires prior consent, we seek consent before using nonessential analytics and advertising technologies.
We may disclose personal information to:
We do not sell personal information for money. We may disclose identifiers, commercial information, and online activity to analytics and advertising providers in ways that some laws define as sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. You may opt out as described below.
We retain personal information for periods that depend on the nature of the information, the purposes for which it was collected, operational needs, applicable limitation periods, and legal, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, and recordkeeping obligations.
We may retain information beyond ordinary periods when reasonably necessary to comply with law, preserve evidence, resolve disputes, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. We may retain minimal suppression information as needed to honor an unsubscribe or advertising opt-out.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. Access to personal information is limited according to business need. No security measure is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and notifying us if you believe your account or information has been compromised.
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy of your personal information. You may also have the right to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising and to appeal a privacy-request decision.
Use our Privacy Choices & Cookie Notice to manage browser-level analytics and advertising choices or submit a privacy request. You may also email info@degreegrading.com with the subject "Privacy Request."
We may verify your identity for access, correction, deletion, or portability requests. We generally do not require identity verification for an advertising opt-out, although we may request information reasonably necessary to process the request. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, subject to appropriate verification. If we deny a request, you may appeal by using the privacy-request form or emailing us with the subject "Privacy Appeal."
Cookie and advertising choices generally apply to the browser or device where they are made. When we can reasonably associate a browser sending a qualifying Global Privacy Control signal with an account, the advertising opt-out may also apply to that account. Deleting cookies or using another browser or device may require you to make the choice again. Use the privacy-request form for other account-level or email-address-level requests.
Residents of Nevada and other states may have privacy rights under applicable law. Nevada residents may request review or correction of covered information and may submit a verified request to opt out of a future sale as defined by Nevada law.
We may disclose identifiers, commercial information, and online activity to analytics and advertising providers in a manner some state laws define as sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not knowingly sell or share personal information of individuals under 16.
We will process verified requests, opt-outs, and appeals as required by applicable law. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
The Services are intended for individuals who are at least 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and address it.
Individuals who have not reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction may use the Services only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.
Degree Grading is based in the United States. Personal information may be processed and stored in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate. Those locations may have different data-protection rules than your jurisdiction.
Where applicable law requires consent before nonessential analytics or advertising technologies are used, we request that consent through our privacy controls.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or Services. We will post the updated Policy with a new effective date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice when required.
